Five questions with Alice

Five questions with Alice—Cornerstone Anglican Church Box Hill

Tell us about a moment from this week that you want to remember.
Being lucky enough to spend quality time with my niece and nephews. It’s so fun seeing them grow up and learn new skills like (almost) crawling, smiling with a little giggle, and showing off skills with a new cricket kit.

What did you do last weekend?
I spent most of last weekend working as a nurse at Royal North Shore hospital, but I managed to find time to buy Cody and my wedding bands together, which was so fun. Then on Sunday, I served at Cornerstone Kids and finished the day with a million episodes of One Tree Hill.

Can you share a favourite Bible verse with us?
Isaiah 41:10—‘Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.’

Tell us about your favourite meal growing up.
Definitely mum’s homemade chicken schnitzel, mash potato, corn, and beans. That was always the go-to birthday request.

Who or what has encouraged you recently?
Jordy and Connor have really encouraged me recently, as they are preparing to be baptised at church this week. It is so awesome to see them publicly profess their faith and I can’t wait to be there to see it.
